I've been a huge Pile fan since the first time I heard "Dripping" in 2013 and was thrilled to pour some time and thought into two posters promoting their shows in both 2015 and 2017. The first features an illustration I completed first as a pen and ink drawing, then built up textures with scans of different paper and textiles. The type was completed by hand with a pencil then added to the illustration digitally. The second is an illustration blending Omaha's River City Star tour boat and a number of the characters featured on the record cover of Pile's current release "A Hairshirt of Purpose".
